Equestrian Canada is also the home of the Canadian Equestrian Team (CET) comprised of Canada’s top riders representing our country in each of the eight FEI disciplines at major international competitions including the Olympic, Pan-American and World Equestrian Games.

The OEF needed a better system to manage more than 20,000 member profiles. Previously, the company had been managing its membership information with a custom-developed database system. Over the years, more and more modules were added from different sources, increasing the cost of integrating new systems and system maintenance year after year. This mishmash of technology made integrating the system into modern architectures a daunting task.


The OEF looked for a flexible and scalable cloud solution and with experienced tech experts to help ease the transition. They ultimately discovered Every8th’s Membership Management System, which was a top performer in functionality, ease of use and customization, and price for their situation.


The Every8th team provided project management and training services to ensure that employees were able to take full advantage of the new system’s many features. The modular approach of the system allowed to rapidly develop new tools to address all the OEF’s integration needs. The OEF team especially appreciated the ease with which non-technical experts could customize the system on their own forms, layouts and labels. The project was successfully deployed and delivered on-budget and on-schedule and continues to manage the OEF’s many members.
